The term “Oabitat” is a fusion of two words – Oasis and Habitat. An Oasis represents the emotional aspect of purchasing real estate, a place that one can finally call home after a long search, a place of peace and solace. Our story began with the founder’s personal journey. David Schielke, born as a German citizen, he spent his childhood in Germany but always felt like he belonged somewhere else. During his university years and his time living abroad, he fell deeply in love with Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian way of life.
After traveling the world, he finally found his Oasis, his Habitat where all the elements of a satisfying life came together – Rio de Janeiro.
